Prof. Moh’d Makame Haji (with white robe front row), Vice Chancellor of the State University of Zanzibar (SUZA) hosts a delegation of World Maritime University (WMU) based in Sweden led by Prof. Francis Neat (4th right front row). This team of Maritime specialists which comprised of members from the Sustainable Fisheries, Biodiversity and Marine Spatial Planning Nippon Foundation Professorial Chair visited SUZA for study tour on maritime related issues on Friday 5th April, 2024.
SUZA has established the Institute of Marine Sciences headed by Dr. Yahya Hamad Sheikh, who is the Institute’s Deputy Director. This mission exchanged expertise and experience with SUZA’s counterparts on marine sciences issues.
