RESULTS ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE FIRST CALL FOR ERASMUS+ KA 107 MOBILITY FOR TRAINING PROGRAM 2019/2020

The State University of Zanzibar (SUZA) and Eskisehir OsmanGazi University Turkey (ESOGU) have agreed to cooperate for the exchange of students and/or staff in the context of the Erasmus+ programme. They commit to respect the quality requirements of the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education in all aspects of the organisation and management of the mobility. The institutions also commit to sound and transparent management of funds allocated to them through Erasmus+.Within the European Commission’s Erasmus+ Program Key Action 1 – Mobility of Individuals, and Inter-institutional agreement between SUZA and ESOGU, SUZA IoT academic staff invited to apply for Erasmus+ funding for a teaching/training period at Institution of Erasmus+ Program Country (ESOGU). The application deadline was 08th july, 2019.

Following the completion of the process, the Management of the Institute of Tourism –IoT is pleased to announce that two (2) out of four (4) members of academic staff who have applied for the funding have been selected and will participate in the first round of the program at Eskisehir OsmanGazi University Turkey (ESOGU). The funding for the program will be given to the selected staffs according to the terms and conditions of the program.

The selected staffs are:

  1. Ms Zaituni Mussa Ali
  2. Mr Kassim Omar Kassim

The selected staffs are both Assistant Lecturers and met all important criteria as provided on the call for application. They are now required to comply with terms and conditions stipulated in the Inter-institutional Agreement between ESOGU and SUZA.
